EP+ our solution


The EP+ is an electrical system which is incorporated into the existing low voltage distribution. Due to its technical function, different electrical parameters can be changed and improved. This in turn has a positive impact on energy consumption. Depending on the consumer and structure of the building, power consumption is reduced by between 2-6%. This new and innovative technology, in combination with our patented BYPASS-system and its unique measuring technique, now makes it possible to visualise and confirm the actual consumption savings you are making.

Each project is unique, sophisticated and is evaluated anew. Divided into several stages and with the utmost of diligence, we accompany the project from the start until final acceptance by the customer.



Examining technical and economic implementation

Prior to the implementation all possibilities will be examined and explained during an on-site visit. In addition to checking the space required, the connectivity options in the existing low voltage distribution boards will also be examined. The technical feasibility has a direct impact on the cost of installation and therefore a major impact on the profitability.

Delivery and installation

Due to the size and weight of the equipment, it is important that the necessary arrangements are made in advance of delivery for the introduction of the system. Depending on the site, the system is usually completely dismantled and shipped to the premises in unassembled form. This requires advance planning and can often only be managed with appropriate equipment, hoists and cranes.

Preparation and pre-installation

In a further step, all necessary cables and materials required for the integration of the system need to be ready and pre-installed in order that the system can be integrated into the grid as quickly as possible and the the interruption in the power supply is as short as possible.

Completing installation and connection of the system

In order to connect the system, the transformer and thus the main power supply must be shut down for a short time. Since this interruption will affect the whole building, it must of course be kept as short as possible and therefore it is necessary to accurately plan all procedures in advance. It is often the case that a timeframe of just 3-4 hours is available for completing the installation of the EP+system.

Start-up procedure and setting of the system

Following the integration of the system into the grid, we then put the system into operation. Subsequently, all setting are checked and the first checks of the circuits carried ot using the patented BYPASS system. At the same time the equipment will be switched at full capacity from BYPASS mode (System:Off) to SAVING mode (System:On).While reviewing the system contols and the processes in place, the savings effect will be visualised on the digital display.

Measurement methods and evaluation of savings

The uniqueness of each company and building, the constantly changing power consumption (in seconds and millisecons) is a major challenge. Consumption is varying and constantly changing- especially in energy-intensive companies. Comparison on an hour for hour, day to day or even month to month basis is not possible or reliable. The permanent connection and disconnection of electrical loads does not allow for a simple, standardised method of measurement to determine the savings made in terms of kilowatt hours.

Immediately after the start-up and adjustment of the EP+system and in coordination with the customer, the qualified measuring procedure is performed. Thanks to a special software and the integrated measuring instuments, the accuracy of the measurements is ensured. The consumption savings being made are thereby measured across all connected loads while in use and are also documented.
